For me, this business is not just a job, it’s a natural extension of my life, deeply rooted in soil. My childhood spent on my grandparents' farm was a gift, and it ignited my passion for gardening, growing food, and creating space for everyone in the family. Gardens are sacred space, a place of healing, a place to feel accomplishment, and place to build memories, and form a relationship with the land. Gardening is labor of love, and where this knowledge translates into stewardship, and practical ways we all contribute to improving our home.
I completed some formal training in horticulture, permaculture, urban agriculture, regenerative soil, composting, herbology, forest therapy practitioner and have years of experience in market gardening. I care deeply for our community's landscapes, our natural ecosystems, and all the animals within it. I am also an experienced nurse who believes nutritional education, and quality produce is a powerful way to engage in healthy behaviors. I truly believe that the way forward is a societal shift in how we understand our ecosystem, and work in it, grow with, and for each other.
